The programme seeks to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators to faith who can impart the truths of the Christian faith, making use of well-grounded pedagogical methods and approaches.
Graduates of this course are able to:
• Acquire knowledge and competencies needed to effectively impart the Christian faith.
• Accompany children and youth to an encounter with Jesus Christ.
• Facilitate experiences that enhance the sense of belonging to the church.
• Organize the process of preparation for the Sacraments of Christian initiation.
• Develop appropriate skills for communicating the faith in a variety of contexts.
Requirements
- KCSE mean grade of C Plain or with a Certificate in any field
Features
- Youth Patrol: It adopts an ecumenical Christian approach to youth ministry.
- Catechisis: It prepares the student to teach the faith of the Catholic Church, particularly to youth and children.
